The document viewer is used to display both the special Cochrane documents stored in the system, such as reviews, and documents generated by the system, such as reports.
When viewing a document, the icons at the top of the module allow you to: download a copy (in HTML or pdf) to your own computer, print the document, and choose between single or double line spacing.
Tip: Place your cursor over each icon to see what it does.
When viewing special Cochrane documents, you have additional options based on the document type:
When viewing Reviews and Modules, the Contents pull-down menu in the upper right corner of the viewer allows you to navigate to specific sections of the document.
When viewing Reviews, there is also a pull-down menu that allows you to choose between:
RevMan View: Shows all information in the review (except graphs).
RevMan + Graphs View:: Shows all information in the review, with all graphs at the end.
RevMan Notes View: Like RevMan view, but also shows all notes within the text.
Graph View: Allows you to choose which graphs to view.
Tip: A number of other view option are available for reviews in addition to the document viewer, see Viewing reviews.
Locate the review you want to view (e.g., with Quick Search).
Right-click the review and choose View > Latest Version.

You can use your browser's Find function to locate a string of text in the document you are viewing.
Press Ctrl-F to open the browser' Find function.
Tip: If you are not looking for text within a specific document, but instead want to find documents that contain the phrase, you can use Advanced Search to do this.
